I decided to try something to see if the boxes would respawn after I save the game and then reload it and it did work so if you need potions or moogle medal coins then this is a great spot to do it at in the beginning of the game. I think it will work anywhere if the area has any boxes to destroy so I hope y’all enjoy my little farming trick. 🙂

Technicaly this is missable, until you beat the game when you unlock replay chapters feature.

Crate Annihilator:
During Chapter 8, you will unlock some side quests. You will unlock them as soon as you finish the main story with Aeris when you need to bring back the lost children.

Complete “Kids on Patrol” quest to unlock “A Verified Hero” quest. Now you can play Whack-a-box by speaking to Sarah in the Children’s Secret Hideout. Pass the 10,000 points to finish the quest. Aim for 30k for a trophy.

Whack-a-Box Wunderkind:
During Chapter 14, after you unlock side quests, you can go back to Children’s Secret Hideout. Sarah will this time offer you to play Hard mode of Whack-a-Box challenge. Simply obtain 30,000 points for the trophy.

This is my guide for final fantasy 7 remake on how to farm google medals. You can do this within chapter 8 in ff7 remake. This is a great strategy for gaining generating as many google medals as you need, when you need them. No more hunting around for boxes.
